In loving memory
Kim had requested that in lieu of flowers at her service that donations be made to Canteen Australia.
Kim was an amazing and active Canteen member. She was involved from the early years and contributed greatly to the growth of the organisation in countless ways. From a young age, Kim showed such grit and determination when faced with her cancer diagnosis and continued often gruelling treatment and associated treatment impacts.
Kim touched the hearts and minds of so many people from all walks of life with her never give up attitude and ability to see the positive aspects of life and people.
Kim was smart, funny, courageous, fearless and loving. She was also an incredible loyal and caring friend to so many.
Kim was along with a small group from Canteen, part of the making of Andrew Denton’s award-winning documentary The Topic of Cancer that lifted the veil on what it is like to be a teenager living with cancer. This documentary helped to put Canteen on the map.
Kim’s life work as a dedicated teacher and champion for those living with a disability encouraged people to follow their dreams.
Her memory will live on and encourage us all to smile, be adventurist, and care for each other.

I’m so impressed by learning about Kim’s career achievements. To say she was a quiet achiever doesn’t sound right as she was a little fire cracker always laughing and speaking to people. I will miss talking to her in our building and sharing glasses of wine together. We will all miss Kim in many ways. Her beautiful soul will be remembered by many. Love and Happy memories to Kim. Xxx
