Play for Verity are fundraising for Canteen
In the year of verity we unite for cancer. We are 4 girls from Adelaide who have each seen the harsh realities of what cancer brings. As we support to embrace those affected by the disease we hope you will join us in raising awareness for the mental consequences of cancer. To fundraise and raise awareness Unity in Verity have planned a games night; Play for Verity. On the 23rd of May we will be hosting a games night with $5 entry, all proceeds will go to Canteen, a charity that supports young people whose lives have been 'flipped upside down' through providing cancer patients with proper mental aid with professionals. Cancer impacts each individual differently, Canteen aims to cater to each person, supporting them with interactive programs, resources and free training for professionals. As we gather for games, music and food we commemorate and support all individuals and their families who must endure fighting such a merciless disease. Impacting over 160,000 people per year in Australia Canteen strives to support the young and professionals through a wide range of free support services.
