Tomorrow I will go closer to finish my challenge. On Friday, I finish. I will be joined by one parent who has been my inspiration to accept this project. I want to thank you all for your support, financial or emotional. I have spent almost 2 months getting up at 3 or 4am almost every day. It has been difficult at times but my experience pales into insignificance compared to those young people and their surviving parents who are victims to the insidious disease that is cancer. Due to the generosity of friends I have already reached my target of $1000. So now I am aiming to raise $2000. I am heading to my 1000km kayaking target by the end of the year. I will continue paddling after that if people keep donating. It is physically demanding in the little tub I am using but the pain is nothing in comparison to the pain the kids and their parents experience. My journey will end but theirs will never end.
