I am standing up to cancer with Canteen
Brianna and myself have decided to use our Christmas break to hit the road and raise some funds for the critical work and support that Canteen provides to young Australia's and their families in the battle against cancer.
To show our support for Canteen, we are riding our bicycles from Sydney to Melbourne to help young Aussies and families impacted by cancer receive the support they need during this difficult and isolating time.
Whilst we will be faced with over 10km's of climbing over 1,000km distance to Melbourne, it's absolutely nothing like the hardship and trauma faced by everyday Australia's taking the good fight necessary to overcome cancer.
Canteen supports young people living with cancer, whether it is their own diagnosis, or that of a parent or sibling.
Canteen is once again heavily relying on Canteen Connect the online platform for counselling and peer to peer support during this even more challenging time in a young persons world. Now more than ever they need the support of Canteen.
