Lendlease is a global real estate and investment group with expertise in shaping cities and communities. They have created essential civic and social infrastructure including state-of-the-art hospitals, universities and stadiums around the world.

This year Lendlease began construction of the Australian Bragg Centre in South Australia, a new cancer treatment and research facility. The Centre will be the first proton therapy cancer treatment facility in Australia. Its development is due to be completed within the next three years and around half of its patients are expected to be children and young adults. Read more about the project here.

Alongside this, Lendlease is fundraising for Canteen to help support young people living with cancer and has pledged a goal of $20,000 over the next two years.

Canteen is the only organisation in Australia dedicated to providing tailored support for young people aged 12-25 who are impacted by cancer.

Through Canteen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and, if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, Canteen provides specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.
