Do I have to do all my sit-ups at the same time?

This is your challenge so do what works for you. You can do them all at once or if you are less advanced you could try doing 50 in the morning and 50 in the evening.

I've never done sit-up's before - can I take part in the challenge?

We suggest you speak to a medical or health professional before undertaking any new type of physical activity. We will be sharing some saftely videos along the way with some easy variations if you are a beginner.

Can I start the challenge early or late?

Of course :) We hope most people can start on the 1st of November but you can of course start a few days earlier or later if it works better for you and your schedule. 

How do I count my sit-ups?

You can count them in your head or get a member of your household to count them for you. You could even try one of the sit-up counter Apps that there are available - search them on your phone and find one that works for you. Please note that none of these App's are endorsed by Canteen.

I didn't make 100 sit-ups in one day, can I make up for it tomorrow?

Yes of course. The challenge is to try and do 100 a day or 3000 in one month. If you have a day where you couldn't fit it in, then you can make up for it in the days after this -we are all human and all have those days.

Fundraising Questions:

What if someone wants to sponsor me in cash or with a cheque?

We encourage you to do most of your fundraising online using your Facebook Fundraising page however is someone has kindly offered to support you with cash or a cheque that is great. Please contact helen.day@canteen.org.au who will be able to help you with this.

I have questions on Facebook Fundraising?

Facebook is a platform which Canteen uses to raise funds through fundraising. Facebook has their own set of processes and policies. Please click here to taken to Facebook's Fundraising FAQ page.

Does Canteen pay any fees to Facebook?

No, 100% of the funds which you raise will be donated to Canteen. 

Where does my money go?

100% of the funds that you raise on this challenge will go to Canteen and supporting young people living with cancer. You can read more about Canteen here.

Why do I need to provide my address and phone number?

We ask for your address so that we can send you one of our fabulous bandanna’s and t-shirts. We ask for your email address so that we can contact you and share stories of some of the wonderful work which you make possible thanks to your support. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

Where is my T-shirt and bandana?

We will be shipping these out via Australia Post twice weekly which takes between 7-10 days.  If your t-shirt and bandanna have not arrived within 14 days from when you have signed up please contact helen.day@canteen.org.au
