Canteen is the game changer for young people living with cancer - whether it is their own diagnosis, or that of a parent or sibling. They help young people cope with cancer in their family, rebuild their foundations and connect with others in the same boat.

The 2024 Shoot-a-thon is an epic basketball challenge for you to flex your skills and raise funds to support young people.

The Shoot-a-thon is guaranteed to be entertaining for all ages so bring along your cheer squad on the day.

How it works

Sign yourself up and join or create a team of friends, teammates, family or workmates and start raising as much money as you can! 

For every $1 raised, you will get 1 shot on the state-of-the-art Dr Dish machines at Swisherr Hoops Academy.


The event will held over two venues: Swisherr Hobart, 103 Melville Street Hobart; and Swisherr Launceston, 57 Boland Street Launceston.

When registering simply select your venue and preferred time slot, then start sharing your profile on your social media.

100% of all funds raised go to Canteen to support their work with young Tasmanians impacted by cancer.
