Every day, 63 young Aussies are impacted by cancer.
That’s 63 reasons to step up with your dog this August.
Join the #Paws4cancer Challenge on Facebook and walk 63km with your dog in August to raise vital funds for Canteen, supporting young people aged 12–25 when cancer turns their world upside down.
Whether your pup’s a sprinter or a sniffer, every step you take together helps provide free counselling, peer programs, and access to lifesaving treatment for young people doing it tough.
Oh, and when you start fundraising—you’ll fetch an iconic Canteen bandanna to wear with pride (something to wag your tail about).
It’s easy, it’s fun, and it’s fur a very good cause.

WALKING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE ALICE
“Canteen helps me become the best version of myself… they’ve given me the connection my 9-year-old self needed.”
“I’ve decided to share my story to show other people that they aren’t alone. That cancer, grief, and everything in between truly sucks, but there are other people who do get it.”

ABOUT CANTEEN
We get it. When life should be full of possibilities, cancer crashes into a young person’s world and shatters everything.
For young people aged 12-25, life should be full of hope. Canteen is here to help build coping skills and resilience that will last them a lifetime.
We run overnight programs, recreation days and digital events that give young people some space away from the daily pressures of living with cancer and the opportunity to meet others who truly understand what they’re going through.
To connect yourself or someone you know or work with to specialist support from Canteen fill out the short online referral form, email us at support@canteen.org.au or call 1800 835 932.
