Event/Registration Costs

There is a $350 registration fee to take part in Life Cycle OffRoad 2024.

This total registration fee includes the following:

  • Transport for riders and their bikes
  • Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner, morning and afternoon tea)
  • Accommodation (you must supply your own swag/bedding)

This ride is open to only 70 riders.

Fundraising Target

While trying to offer a fun event and a challenge to all abilities, fundraising for Canteen is our primary objective and there is a minimum fundraising requirement of $300 per person.

Exemptions apply – a family or couple need only reach the minimum once and anyone who raised $300 in the 2024 OnRoad is also exempt.

About Canteen

We get it. Just when life should be full of possibilities, cancer crashes into a young person’s world and shatters everything. Cancer pushes them back in to the nest, makes them grow up too fast and weighs them down with worries they’re not supposed to have yet.

Canteen is the game changer. We help young people cope with cancer in their family. Through Canteen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancerconnect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, we also provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how Canteen is the difference.

Rider Responsibilities

All riders ride at their own risk and subject to completion of online registration including Ride Disclaimer & Consent (waiver), personal and medical details.

Riders are advised to obtain their own sickness and accident insurance in case of sickness, accident or injury en-route to/from or during the event. School students are advised that their school’s insurance may provide '24 hour a day, seven days a week' cover at a nominal cost. The organisers will also endeavour to meet any identified dietary requirements.

Reasonable levels of fitness and skill are required to complete the ride comfortably. Nominees are responsible for their own state of health. The organisers of this event are not medically trained and have no specific ability or skills to professionally assess the health or physical ability of entrants. We recommend that nominees who do not engage in regular and strenuous physical activity seek the advice of their doctor before undertaking this ride.

The organisers reserve the right to make any changes in the interests of safety.

The onus is on each rider to have their bicycle safety checked AND in safe working order for the start of the ride.
