Stand up to cancer with Canteen

With running, walking and cycling events cancelled across Australia, what better time to start your own personal challenge. Dare yourself to run, walk, cycle, hop or skip a certain distance over days, weeks or months (there are no limits)! Bored of walking? Why not start yoga and challenge yourself to do 30 minutes of yoga for 30 days.

Now, more than ever, it's important to have a healthy body and mind. And that's what you'll be helping us do as we move all of our emotion and mental support services online. 

Please help us reach our goal to raise $150,000 to keep Canteen Connect running for the three months. 

Canteen Connect is a 24/7 world-class online support service. It enables young people whose lives have been impacted by cancer to connect with others in similar situations online, which is more important now than ever. Information and helpful resources are tailored to each individual situation and young people can easily chat to one of our online counsellors and each other.

CYCLE: Cycling is the perfect exercise to do while social distancing. Grab your bike and challenge yourself to a virtual race. Cycle the distance from Melbourne to Sydney in a month!
RUN: Run a Marathon in your living room or garden - seriously it's a thing!
COUNT YOUR STEPS

COUNT YOUR STEPS

RUN OR WALK: With more time being spent indoors, it's really important for mental health and overall wellbeing to make sure you take the time to get moving.
Why not challenge yourself to walk 10,000 steps a day for a month, you can even do this inside!
Clock your steps and keep your supporters updated every step of the way.

DANCE: Challenge you and your friends to dancing away for an hour a day - have fun, dance the night away!
YOGA: Yoga and mindfulness are key to keeping a healthy mind. Why not set yourself a 30-day challenge to do 30 minutes of yoga or mindfulness a day and see what happens?
