Never Too Late - Well Sort of.So last year, I left it a little too late to start geting saddle time. and of course, I got found out fairly early into Day 1 that I was not the elite rider I hoped to be without any training. To be honest, my youngest son Oscar rode over 10km every week for a year over 2018-2019 and totalled 556km for the year which was about 516km further than I rode in my training for the LifeCycle 2019 Event.
I'm riding to support young people with cancer.
I’m riding in the 2021 Life Cycle for Canteen OnRoad event for the 10th time this year.
Unfortunately, this year, Cancer has again affected members of my family. It truly does touch so many of us in our community and our immediate loved ones.
I am riding again to help provide the support our teenagers need when Cancer crashes into their world.
Canteen is the game changer. Canteen supports young people living with cancer, whether it is their own diagnosis, or that of a parent or sibling. They help young people cope with cancer in their family, rebuild their foundations and connect with others in the same boat.
Please help me help them, by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about Canteen, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
