Spent for Trent

We are being active for CanTeen

G'day everyone,

As most of you know I (Madeline Benson) organise a fundraiser for Canteen each and every year and this year I have decided to take on another half marathon (with 20 days training soo god help me lol) at the Dubbo Stampede on Sunday the 25^th of August. The amazing team I will front along with some of my students is called "Team Trent" and it is for a wonderful man in our family who is currently fighting this disease hard to enjoy every single day. This charity focuses on children and young people but Trent is young, wild and free at heart. He is about to turn 47 years old and has Prader Willi so he was already dealt enough cards in his life without incurring this horrible hand. He leads a fun filled life of coffees, activities and has a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Trent has the most loving and supporting family around him who would all do anything for him at the drop of a hat.

 I choose Canteen as it is raising money for young people fighting cancer, who with the help of generous donations can live a long and fruitful life after kicking it in the arse when they are young. It might not have happened to you personally yet, but someone, at some stage in your life that you know will be affected by this and you will want people to be selfless and give what they can. Do it for a good cause now.

If you donate directly to this page the money will go towards children and young people fighting cancer as well as a raffle that will be held.  

Fitness is a love of mine and I cannot wait to tackle another halfa head on, but for someone I love. . .
