We get it. Just when life should be full of possibilities, cancer crashes into a young person’s world and shatters everything. Cancer pushes young people to grow up too fast and weighs them down with worries no-one should have to deal with.
Canteen is the game changer. We help young people impacted by cancer, whether they are dealing with their own diagnosis, a close family member's cancer or the death of a loved one. Through Canteen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves we also provide specialist youth-specific treatment.
By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how Canteen is the difference.
Join us today to help raise vital funds for young people dealing with cancer.
In March 2021 Life Cycle OnRoad celebrated 23 years and $2.2 million raised for Canteen.
Help us continue this fabulous tradition and make this year our best year yet!
Life Cycle OnRoad 2022 will see around 150 riders of varied abilities cycle from Bassendean to Busselton over three days to raise vital funds and support for young people dealing with cancer in their lives. On Day 3, three groups ride through Donnybrook and Capel, while the other two groups pass through Dardanup and Capel and then through the Tuart Forest to Busselton.
