Support Canteen in the 2023 Canberra Fun Run

The streets of Canberra wil once again be filled with laughter, determination, adrenaline and inspiration for this year's Canberra Times Fun Run on 5 November 2023.

We're excited to once again be offering the half marathon after the immense success last year, so with 4 distances to choose from (21.1K, 10K, 5K or 2 kids run) you’ll enjoy a fast, flat course that takes you past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks including the Parliamentary Triangle and Lake Burley Griffin – the centrepiece of Canberra.

Tell your mates, start training and join over 5,000 runners challenging themselves to be their best.

Join Team Canteen and help young Aussies stand up to cancer!

Where does the money go?

We get it. Just when life should be full of possibilities, cancer crashes into a young person's world and shatters everything. Canteen is the game-changer. We help young people cope with cancer in their families. Through Canteen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they've been diagnosed themselves, we provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.
By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how Canteen is the difference.
